Yesterday was my Birthday, and I spent a nice day at home....we will celebrate officially this weekend when my son turns 17.....
all day yesterday though, all I could think of was what a loss the stitching world has endured yesterday, with the tragic death of Lisa from The Primitive Needle . My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this terribly sad time. I loved her designs, and have one stitched and framed, and hanging in my hallway.
On that note...hug your family...we just never know!!
Take care everyone

Happy Birthday Marion, and Many Happy Returns.
ReplyDeleteI am sure we will all look at certain scary primitives with a different outlook. hugs
Be always in stitches.
Happy Birthday to you and to your son!
ReplyDeleteLisa will be greatly missed.
Happy Birthday to you and your son.
ReplyDeleteSincere sympathies to Lisa's family and many friends.
One needs to love and appreciate everyone close to them all the time.
I was sitting here when your message came in. Thank you for the kinds words about my mom. I am so so sorry you lost your mom to it too. I worked in geriatrics before our kids were born as an RN in nursing homes and not much has changed since then with this dreadful disease unfortunately!
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I heard of Lisa's accident. So tragic!!
Thanks for stopping by! HUGS
Happy belated birthday. I hope your celebration was good and not dampened by Lisa's tragic death. I look forward to seeing what PN design you stitch in honor of her.
