Yup, it's me....the hopeless Blogger!!! Figured I would start the New Year right! I HAVE been reading my favourite Blogs, but most time I cannot comment, I have no idea why...something to do with the settings on my computer I think, but I can't figure it out.......
I won't bore everyone with all that's been happening around here......it's been typical.
We did loose our beloved border collie on Novenber 17th. We were all devasted! Nallie-dog was my friend...I loved her dearly...she was a unique and wonderful dog.(she was 13 1/2 and healthy until just about the end....) It was especially hard on my youngest....she grew up with Nallie and had no idea what life was like without her.....there was a lot of crying from everyone in the family that week...(and since....). We did however, add to our family with Hemi....who is now called "Herman" more than Hemi....he is a 5 month old pekingese/chihuahua...and he's adorable. It helps to have him...I could not imagine a house where a dog did not greet me at the door! We didn't get him to REPLACE Nallie, but to add to our household.
We had a great Holiday......the weather was mild and wonderful around here....no problems with travelling around the area at all.....
I made a swedish weave blanket, which was a Christmas gift to a dear friend....and I managed to finish up TWO cross-stitch pieces and get them professionally framed.
Please excuse the bad photos! While the weather is mild, and great for travelling, it is dark and rainy and not good for photos!
And that fellow Bloggers is my last few months in a nutshell!!!
Happy New Year to everyone!!
Marion

ReplyDeleteYour woven Swedish blanket is beautiful. My husband is Swedish and has done some Swedish Huck Weaving. In fact, his first project was a beautiful Christmas table runner, which we display on our dining room table each year.
Wonderful needlework pieces too. Your stitching is lovely.
